The American Empire collapses and a new leader emerges known only as "The Maven".

A political and racial war divides the country and plunges it into a civil war. Hundreds of thousands are killed or go missing. Mave, a young woman, flees the violence. Now a refugee in her own country, with the ingenuity and help of incredible indigenous friends, she navigates mountains and walks over 600 miles looking for a safe haven. This is the beginning of her journey through what is now called The Reclamation War.

Safety and security are found on Native Reserves and many Americans fleeing the violence of their hometowns seek refuge there. A resistance movement forms and Mave unknowingly provides the key that turns the tide.
